Client Description
Consegna are looking for Practice Directors to join a specialist, award winning Management Consultancy based in London. The Practice Director will lead the practice within my clients Transactions Services Division, specialising in Transactions Assistance, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Refinancing and Restructuring across multiple projects.
The Opportunity
Key aspects of the role
• Subject matter expert (SME) in at least one field of corporate transactions (re-Financing, M&A, IPO, Company valuation) and have a strong understanding and experience in the other fields.
• Maintain and build business relationships with market leaders, business contacts and current clients to yield references, referrals, and revenue (including utilizing public speaking or publications).
• As a director you would be expected to deliver around £1m of consulting revenue, with a view to increase that figure to around £3m the following year.
• Demonstrate in-depth understanding of client industry, position, goals, objective and competitive advantage in order to provide appropriate advice and guidance to business and to address client needs.
Required Skills
About you
• Experience of leading a practice within Transactions Advisory for a small Management Consultancy or Large Financial Investment house or ideally Manager to Director level within “Big 4”.
• Your expertise would include one of the following with a strong understanding of most of the others:
o Mergers and Acquisition
o Refinancing
o IPO
o Working Capital Reviews
o PPP / PFI
o Company Valuation
o Due Diligence
• Selling Solutions
• Hands on assistance not just “advisory” work
• Ideally you will have the following but is not essential: Previous Audit experience, Strong existing relationships within Transactions, good understanding of Financial Services regulatory environment.
