Consegna are seeking to fill the position of a 'SAS Implementation Consultant’ with one of our hugely successful clients who are experts in the business intelligence market.
Required Skills
Your technical skills will include experience of data warehousing design including ETL and Data modelling. Previous experience of designing data-warehouses or data-marts is essential. Experience of SAS V9 and DI Studio would be a distinct advantage
This role requires aprox. 80% of time to be spent on client sites and will involve prolonged periods of time away within the UK.

Job Role
The Principal Solutions Implementation Consultant ensures the successful delivery of large solutions to clients by taking a technical leadership role in the analysis, design, construction and management of the solution and playing a key liaison role with the client. You will also play a key role in the sales cycle and take an active part in process, product and/or staff development and improvement.
The successful candidate will have a good appreciation of DI architecture and will undertake business solution testing to fully understand how the business solution works whilst having key involvement in how the solution is positioned/ marketed, highlighting gaps and helping define how these might be addressed. You will also have responsibility for converting business and user requirements into effective designs, both physical and logical for large and complex solutions.
With a consultative background and the ability to communicate effectively throughout organisations you will have proven experience in leading complex implementations within a data warehousing, BI, and/or analytics environment, providing consultancy on the strategic use of SAS. With a good understanding of technical testing strategy and approach you will also have good experience of software delivery to the BI and Analytics software market.
